Get ready for the Valais Marathon BCVS with our training sessions organized in collaboration with our partners: BCVS, Les Bons Sirops Morand, the Proto Running Club, and many others.

IT'S A CARTOON!
In 2027, the Valais BCVS Marathon is going cartoon-style!
This year, get ready to dive into a colorful world where cartoon and comic book characters come to life!
IT'S UP TO YOU TO CHOOSE YOUR CHARACTER!
Tom or Jerry, Woody or Buzz Lightyear, a manga character, a hero from your childhood, a cartoon version of an Hérens cow, or a completely wacky creation… there’s only one rule: let your imagination run wild!
PUT ON YOUR BEST COSTUME!
Whether you're running solo, as a duo, with your family, or with your whole team, take advantage of the theme to turn your race into a real-life cartoon episode.
And save some energy for the show: prizes will be awarded for the best costumes!

The 2027 Runner's Guide will be available two weeks before the event to help you with your final preparations and provide you with all the information you need before heading to the starting line.
WHEN SHOULD YOU PICK UP YOUR RACE NUMBER?
Decathlon Martigny · Early Pickup
From Monday, May 17, through Friday, May 21, 2027, you can pick up your race bib in advance at the Decathlon Martigny store during store hours.
Martigny Expo
Saturday, May 22, 2027 · 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Sunday, May 23, 2027 · 6:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Please note: You must pick up your race bib no later than 30 minutes before the start of your race.
WHAT YOU NEED TO PICK UP YOUR RACE NUMBER
Your pick-up card will be sent to you by email one week before the event.
To pick up your race bib, please bring:
CAN SOMEONE PICK UP MY BIB FOR ME?
Yes. If you can't come in person, someone else can pick up your race bib for you by presenting your pickup card and a copy of your ID.
This option also applies to picking up multiple race bibs as part of a group.
EKIDEN MARATHON
Only one team member may pick up the envelope containing the team's race number for all relay runners.
GOOD TO KNOW
Race bibs are personalized and cannot be freely transferred to another person, as they are linked to the personal information and emergency contact details provided during registration.
Running isn't just about the time!
Throughout the weekend, the activities along the courses and at the Marathon Village will turn the Valais BCVS Marathon into a real playground!
Music, zany characters, challenges, and surprises will set the tone for the weekend for young and old alike. Whether you’re a runner or a fan, you won’t be able to just sit back and watch the adventure unfold!

To spoil everyone, an original tombola will be organized after the prize-giving ceremony, offering everyone a chance to win a prize, culminating in an exceptional jackpot that promises to make everyone very happy!
To collect their prize, they must present their race number and proof of identity. Prizes must be collected on the day of the race, and will not be sent by post after the event.
From 10:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., dance the night away.
JOIN MARTIGNY EXPO
BY TRAIN
In collaboration with our partner RegionAlps, we're making it easier for you to get to the event venue by train.
Martigny Train Station
About a 20-minute walk from Martigny Expo.
Martigny-Expo Station
Located just a few steps from the site, this is the closest stop. Trains will stop there hourly on a special basis during the event.
Please note: Not all trains stop at Martigny-Expo. Be sure to check the schedule before you leave.
BY BUS
Our partner, Transports de Martigny et Régions, makes it easy to reach Martigny and the surrounding area via the public transportation network.
Check the TMR and CarPostal schedules to plan your trip.
BY BIKE OR ON FOOT
If you're from the area, try to get around by bike or on foot.
Bicycle parking is available near the event site.
BY CAR
A9 Highway · Martigny-Expo Exit
Free parking is available at Martigny-Expo and in the surrounding area throughout the weekend.
If you're coming by car, consider carpooling!
