New for 2026: The Valais Terroir Marathon goes nighttime!

Get ready for a 5K run like no other in the heart of Martigny. Designed with fun in mind, La Trott’aux Fous immerses you in a festive and quirky atmosphere.

The 5K race starts at 9 p.m.

Along the route, two aid stations have been specially designed as mini rave parties, complete with DJs, lights, and local delicacies to enjoy. With surprises, a festive atmosphere, and a wild section, everything comes together for a unique experience to share with friends.And once you cross the finish line, there’s no need to wait: we’ll jump right into Maratho’Night starting at 10 p.m. to keep the party going all night long.And to top it all off, a costume contest will reward the most creative participants.With 1.5 hours to finish, everyone can enjoy the event at their own pace… even if it’s just walking!

  • A wide range of refreshments, from sports products to festive dishes, so that there's something for everyone.
  • Mandatory equipment: headlamp (or other lighting device) is mandatory. If you don't have one, you can get one directly from the start village.

Masquerade costume contest
Theme for 2026: The 80s! Bring out your retro looks! The best costumes of the day will be invited to take part in a costume contest during the awards ceremony for a chance to win a prize.
Crazy section
A 200m zone on Martigny's mythical Place Centrale, with several challenges for those who want to, such as running backwards or hopping. So, will you be the craziest!
Epicurean refreshments
On the program: discovery of local products, including wines, cheeses and many other culinary surprises from our region.
Marathon Village
Music, children's activities, food and more before and after your run.
